Just After Christmas (2019)
This series results from concerns about and interests in the relativity of time and uncertainty of memories. The scenes picture Christmas parties in a small Norwegian town which seem to be on an extended pause. Photographs taken between January and March in 2019 of winter silence and the stillness were printed and staged together with the out-of-date party debris for one year, or until the
next Christmas season began. The series was presented in a solo exhibition along with video and installation works.
